murga-linux branching out???

#1 Post by MinHundHettePerro »

Comment section of this week's DistroWatch Weekly:

Branching out, ey?

Guess where the link in the attached screen-shot leads to!

Just stumbled across this and thought I'd mention it.
A bit provocative, innit?

For the curious, this is about murga-linux.org redirecting to puppylinux forum dot org

The site's name server is that of a small fruit, AFAIK, puppyite's host.
Puppy user since Oct 2004. Want FreeOffice? Get the sfs (English only).

It looks like a case of Puppyite using a name that is similar to the one of this forum in an attempt to redirect unsuspecting new Puppy users and maybe some others to his forum.
As long as the site name he is using for the redirection was purchased legally, he can do with it what he wants.
But misdirection to his forum is downright sneaky using such a similar name.

How does he qualify for a .org domain? (If domain is the right term.)
