I desperately need some advice on the Fast Ethernet family...

The b.book is equipped with this networking interface, but I can't find the kernel option for it? What am I supposed to compile?

I tried adding all known network devices to the kernel, but the belinea still doesn't respond (doesn't show eth0 interface)? Does anyone know this specific option in the kernel?

It is kernel 2.6.33.2 I am talking about, and the hardware spec is: Fast Ethernet with Wireless... mostly it is Realtek or Broadcom... but in this case neither.

Please help!!! Thank you
