Security update available for Adobe Flash Player
I have never updated flashplayer on my own ... I always need a reminder.
Thank you, Semme.
nooby,
Updating is simple, but I may have missed a step in my previous post.
1) Create a directory and unpack the downloaded 'install_flash_player_11_linux.i386.tar.gz' into it.
2) Copy 'libflashplayer.so' to usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (remove the old one first).
this step, I think, isn't essential, but let's follow Adobe's instructions to the letter
3) Copy 'flash-player-properties' to usr/bin/ (remove the old one first).
.

Okay for your sake I look again
Hang in there. oops I am using Another computer now
so have to wait for the Linux tomorrow
The only reason me can write here today
are that Ms knew how to make contact
Two Linux and two puppy OS failed to get pass the protection
but we knew some problem may arise with Ms

Because I'm not getting the same result, you should mention the failing browser, it's version and your player version.
With an older FF, you could probably *spoof* it's user agent: How to change the User Agent in Firefox
The current line has changed: general.useragent.enable_overrides
You however.. stick with the extension.
