firefox stuck in full-screen (Solved)

#1 Post by bones01 »

Earlier today I accidentally hit F11 and put firefox into full screen mode. But I can't get it out!! F11 doesn't toggle; clicking the minimize box doesn't change anything; right-click and "exit full screen mode" doesn't change anything either.
Is this a linux / puppy issue? If so, does anyone know a way out?
I'm in Lucid5.2.8, frugal, using JWM and Firefox 10.0 (I thank that's the version. I haven't done the latest update.)

Thanks

Bones

firefox "safe mode" may be a way out of your full-screen predicament ...

Thanks Barkin. The link to "Safe mode" did the trick. Glad you knew where to look. I didn't even think of trying a 'safe mode' and wouldn't have known how to open it even if I had thought of it.

Thanks again.
