BrowserID addon makes U known everywhere? Security risk?

Would this addon make you even more easy to track?
I mean it does send out a unique code for that browser.

Sure that is what it already does but this addon makes it
an opt in. You tell they you agree to be known sort of?

Can not that be exploited?
