No dial tone from IBM T42 modem with PupDial

Hello, I have puppy installed on a 1 GB flash drive and it boots up just fine. However I am experiencing problems with connecting to the Internet with pupDial. My IBM T42 modem is working but the pupDial modem Internet dialer status log displays No Dial Tone. At the moment I have Puppy 5.2.8 installed on USB flash drive. Thanks Edited_time_total |

You need to specify which Puppy you're using. Also, read this. |

At the moment I have Puppy 5.2.8 installed on USB flash drive. Laptop IBM T42 with Agere systems AC97 Modem and pulse dialer. I would like to know if the Zonet ZFM5600CF 56K V.92 Cardbus PCMCIA modem will be compatible with Puppy 5.2.8? In the product requirements Linux is listed. Thanks |
