DVD+RW to make MultiSession Lupu 528 How? [solved]
Now I am a hopeless case. I need handheld step for step instruction.
Let us start with my computer.
Dell Dimention 46001 Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz
512MB RAM
First things first. Have to set up BIOS so it actually prefer to use the DVD ROM
Now looking in Bios it says
SATA Primary Drive Off
SATA Secondary Drive Off
Primary Master Drive Hard Drive
Primary Slave Drive Off
Secondary Master Drive CD-ROM Device.
Secondary Slave Drive Off
IDE Drive UDMA On
What do I need to change here?
Edit. This is embarrassing indeed. I fail to find PBurn program in Lupu 528-004
Is it deprecated? What to use instead? I need to make a truly blank DVD+RW
Ooops I wrote it in Terminal and that installed the program.
Now I have to figure out how to use it.
Edit. A disk is already in the tray. Please re load it.
But it fails to indicate how one do that? I tested to open the tray and
let it restart the DVD but that did not make any progress.

Changed to a computer that hopefully have a running DVD burner.
It at least booted a DVD+RW with old Puppy400 but that one had
no pburn so Now I am booted in Lupu 528-400 using USB and will try
to burn a DVD+RW blank for to install Lupu528 on it.
Edit. Have no idea what it does. The PBurn program starts and
I tell it to blank a DVD and it says that I shall load it but give no
hint on how one load it at all.
I push the physical button to force the tray to go in but nothing indicate
that it burns anything to blank. Nothing happens on this computer either.
And this one at least read the DVD so how does one know what to do
and if it works?

If all you want to do is burn a Puppy iso onto a DVD+RW, you don't need to blank the DVD+RW first. I've used Burniso2cd many times to burn a DVD+RW without blanking it first, and I'm pretty sure Pburn will do it too.

Yes finally it seems that it works for me.
I guess the other computers that I tried had faulty DVD burners?
I should change the burner in them to a working one and try again.
Using my most modern computer I did manage to burn one dvd+rw
and it booted so thanks for helping me. _________________
