Hi !
I need occasionally to set (for friends) NFS client on their Puppy 5.X.
There are several posts in this forum and some helpful people posted binaries for NFS client, NFS common, rpcbind and so on. They work, but if I have to direct my father over the phone to install it it is more challenging.
I was wondering if NFS client functionality (and why not, NFS server also) might be made available as a .pet or .sfs to be easily installed by beginners.
With many people having their own NAS nowadays I can imagine to be quite a useful and popular feature.

Hi musher0,
NAS: Network Attached Storage - in this case probably a small Linux box. No monitor, keyboard or mouse. Just a one or more hard drive(s).
Used as a central mass storage / backup for other pc's to access.Often used in the home for movie / music collections.
Mine is a ReadyNas from Netgear
