After quite some time with puppeee my eeepc is hungry for a new modern distro of puppy linux and i've heard good things about slacko and jemimah's new work, saluki; so which one works best out of the box with the eee (overclock/screen size/wifi)?

what's everyone else using?

thanks in advance.

I've only tried Pupeee 1.0, Slacko and Lucid. Lucid and Puppeee on sD card, Slacko in full install on hard drive.

Slacko and Lucid need a battery program, this one seems to work, the laptop-acpi-battery-tools:

also some of the games are too big for the screen.

But you could try other Puppies as well, I haven't yet but I probably will.

I've made my eeepc run 528. It looks just like my desktop PC. I really wish that the extras developed for the eepc could be easily added to 528 so that I had the hardware controls etc. I found pupeee too different and didn't do the things I needed.
