I can't get my Lucid 5.28 to recognize my Kodak M530's picture storage. When I look in hardinfo under USB devices it see's it just fine. I just can't get it to read the filesystem on the camera.

I've tried this possible solution I found on the ubuntu forums, but it seems to make no difference.

Does anyone have experience with difficult cameras they can share?

Thanks

jafa

What procedure are you using to do this?

As indicated in the ubuntu thread I'm hoping to get it to show up as a USB drive that is mountable, as it does there and with the windows versions..

Try this instead.

1. Download and install PeasyPrint.

2. The row of editing tools has a Camera button. Click it.

3. Hopefully, your camera's memory will appear in a ROX window.

Thanks, man.

I'm wrestling with the subtle nuances of Gtkam at the moment, but i will look into your recommendation.

[edit] Wow. PeasyPrint is exactly what I needed! Very nice.
