Sound but no picture in videos [solved]

Subject description: Lucid Puppy
 

Running Lucid from a USB stick on Fujitsu Esprimo v5535.

Videos run and the sound is normal but I have no picture.

Snowy- if you're talk'n about MPlayer, open prefs >> player and toggle video output >> xv/x11.

If it's about a browser- devil's in the details. Be sure'n leave a link to a page that doesn't play..

Mplayer. Thank you, that worked.

But when I want to run a video in Firefox on Channel 4 site it asks for Flash, and sends me to the Adobe site. I have no idea what to download or how to install it. i did try the RPM but Puppy wasn't happy with it.

OK. I found how to install Flashplayer from Puppy. It would be good if things like this came pre-installed, like they do in Mint.
