WM changing distro Can Puppy learn from Hybryde features?

#1 Post by nooby »

Hybryd is different in that you can change to any Windows Manager
http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=07254
a desktop Linux distribution with one unique feature
- the ability to switch rapidly and fluidly between a number of desktop
environments and window managers without logging out and without
having to close open applications first.

The list includes
Enlightenment 17,
GNOME Shell,
GNOME 3 "Fallback" mode,
KDE,
LXDE,
Openbox,
Unity,
Xfce and
FVWM.

The switching between desktops is achieved via a customisable
Hy-menu which also allows launching applications and configuring the system.
Puppy can already change without rebooting but this one try to take all of
them except JWM and others they think too small?
I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though
