Hello,
I took the 32-bit .deb file from The Official Google Earth Website and converted it into an SFS.
I have only tested it in Slacko 5.3.3 Final so far, but it should work in most newer Pups.
The default language is English. If you want other langauges, you need to install the google_earth_NLS-6.2.2.pet.
The download link is http://www.smokey01.com/Tman/apps/Common-apps
Dependencies: Mesa, Xorg-High or a proprietary video driver needs to be installed before Google Earth can run.
enjoy!

Sounds like a libcurl issue? Another potential option.
Depending on which pup you run <because nobody ever thinks to include this> try one of these:
Precise >> http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/di ... 7_sfs4.sfs
Slacko (maybe) >> http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/di ... -6.2.2.sfs

Try renaming libcurl.so.4 in opt/google/earth to OLD-libcurl.so.4
Worked with Slacko Pupi 5.7

Google Earth crashes at startup and "Signal 11 error"
download libGL.so.1
http://librarian.launchpad.net/7037027/libGL.so.1
download libGL.so.1.2
http://mymediasystem.net/wp/2009/01/libGL.so.1.2
Give both files executable and searchable permission (a+x)
Replace those files (and back them up) in /opt/google/earth/free
Should it not be enough, find those files in Pupi (make a backup) and replace wherever you find them.
