I have lupu525v4 running on and old laptop and Slacko 5.3 on a MacMini under Parallels 7. So far so good.
I want to use the old laptop to control electronics/motors through the parallel port. Anyway, that's my first object. I believe that BACON is THE programming language for me.
I use Genie to type in a program but then I don't know how to execute or compile. I get errors like "make" not found. What is the required file organization, which files should be where to make it work? What are the Genie settings?
Second: I want to use Slacko on the Mac Mini to develop/compile programs for use on the laptop (with lupu525v4). Can that be done and how?
I'm a long time computer user and I do have some programming experience (assembler/Z80, old fashioned BASIC, Clipper) but that's a long time ago. Now I find difficult to start up.

Hi linuph,
you wrote:

I am using geany (the defaulttexteditor, see /usr/local/bin/) to type in a programm (also Bacon programs)

Some info about geany is here:
