puppy says no but it does it anyway

Hi puppy trainers :-)
Puppy keeps telling me that my DVD is write only, and then goes ahead and saves to the DVD anyway. When I reboot on the new DVD everything is fine and the changes have clearly been duly saved to the DVD. Is this just a puppy panic I should ignore?
Kind regards
David

No reason for panic, dwsolo. When burning an .iso to a CD, you can choose the option to burn it multisession, while the DVD's are burnt multisession by default.

You can also save to a multisession DVD, in simple terms it works like having multiple partitions. A cool way to store large applications that will install in seconds when needed.

Take a look at this link
Save directories to DVD+RW as sessions, using growisofs
and the last page here:
Please post your simple tricks you know but others don't

Dwsolo, I've had the same thing happen to me, a long time ago. Which version of Puppy are you using and how did you burn it onto the multisession DVD-R? Also, how much RAM do you have and do you have a hard disk drive with a swap partition?

Noticed lots of non-error errors popup in the newest puppies.
