How do I multisession using the standard ISO? |
|
Edited adding important info
All this time using Puppy and I hadn't tried to multisession. (My main puppy computer does not have a CD-RW).
But now that I've decided to test it, it does not work as I expected. What's wrong with this picture?
- I started burning the standard 109 Beta2 ISO (Same happens with 108rc1) leaving it open for more sessions- I boot and select option 5, It boots correctly.
- I choose my settings do a couple of things, install an app and shutdown.
- Puppy saves my session.
- I take take the CD to my main puppy computer. I boot and... Whatever option I choose it ignores the previous session.
- I boot puppy 100% into ram mount the CD and I cannot see the saved folder on the cd.
- I can use the multisession on the computer I burned it.
Any ideas?
Remember: I am testing option 5 of the standard ISO.
I know that I could try the multisession ISO but that's Not what I'm testing.
Thank you.

Oh, I missed an important fact (I just noticed after re-reading the post)
I am testing creating the multisession and saving the multisession in one computer and trying to boot it in another computer that does not have a Burner.
Does the Multisession only uses the saved session on a CD/DVD burner?

I don't know if the multisession CD has to boot in a CD-RW, but I'm pretty sure that when it does boot it loads the configuration stored in the saved sessions. This configuration might be specific to the computer where the sessions were saved.
As for why the second computer can't see the saved session, how old is the CD drive in the second computer? Maybe if you swap the CD drives it will work in the second computer.
