Hi has anyone managed to get the hp deskjet f4180 printer sanner working correctly i have tried some of the suggestions on the forums but with no success any help greatly appreciated thanks

In my case, a qualified yes.
(HP PhotoSmart C4480)

Turn on printer.
Menu / System / CUPS Manage Printing
Click Yes to add new printer.
Click on Add Printer.
Type F4180 in Name: box and click on Continue.
Click on down arrow and select model number that’s closest to yours.
Click on Continue. It should recognize your choice.
Click on Home.
Click on Manage Printers.
Scroll down to printer and click on Set As Default.
Try printing a test page.

What Puppy version are you using?

What have you tried so far?

Your first stop for print/scan information is here.

That page has downloads for the HP print/scan drivers. You will need them for your F4180.
