I am using slacko 5.3.3. I have java 1.6.31 installed. But when I run it, I get this:

Minecraft has crashed!

You need to enable hardware 3D acceleration.

If you have intel or radeon graphics processor, you might try installing mesa in slickpet's drivers tab.
