Multisession DVD folders

#1 Post by TheYoungOne »

Hey guys. I had a look around but didn't find anything that i want to do.
It's the first time i've tried using a multisessionDVD; it's good, i think it's my favourite method of using puppy. As it was my first time i ended up making a few saves to the DVD on shutdown so i have a few folders now that get loaded on each boot some a quite small. I was thinking maybe to speed things up a bit i could delete all the folders and then save on shutdown to just have one folder with all my settings, programs. Would this work ?
Cheers.
EDIT: btw the dvd is a RW.

Yes, there's a way to do what I think you want to do. See here.

But, unless you have many saved folders, I don't think you'll see much difference in boot times by reducing them to one.

Perfect thanks man. it's also just for tidiness. Sorry for opening a new thread for it. I should have been more flexible (I think that's the word) in my search.
Stay well
