Hi guys,
i found a bug i guess...(i don't know if something of the "x files" are broken..)
so, i did that:
--beware please, don't try it if you are working, before, close and save your files--

Code: Select all

Click right on the title bar of any windows and after i pressed the right key.
that's go out to the terminal mode..

I am using Puppy Linux, lupu 258 kernel 2.6.33 and Open box..

I can confirm.
Does it on my install of Lucid 528.
( for clarity, the right movement arrow key)
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)

Fascinating... doesn't do it for me. I wonder why? By the way: I'm a "leftie", meaning I mouse lefthanded. So I tried all the way around ( left AND right ) and still nothing happened.

Guess this will just add to the confuzzlement?

disclaimer (I don't use Lucid but somewhat familiar with openbox in general)

for clarity - the result is an Exit to Prompt? (Quit/Exit/kill wm like Ctrl+Alt+backspace)

for hilarity: have had worse happen in icewm (session goes down ramhole after clumsy user input, all keycombos for icewm are checked and safed in the next session using a different wm)

possible cause of result - openbox rc.xml may hold a clue. some actions take effect on press, movement or release of button3 in the titlebar (usually a window operations menu if that's how it's bound)

using the Right dirkey in sequence may navigate that operations menu somehow and an unintended action may happen on release if done quickly. my sketchy recall of that menu doesn't include any radical cmds like the result experienced by estuardolh or bigpup, however

I suspect Eyes-Only to have a kybd and mouse that's synced to him so tightly through long use that they know when he's trying to fool them
