Hi,
i tried to download the 1.0.3-mozilla iso. But always if i check the file with md5sum i get the message that one part of the checksum isnīt correct.
until today i downloaded the file 4 times also from different servers and saved it on different drives and folders but always this error.
I donīt know whats wrong. Any solution ?

Sorry, but i didnīt understand.
Isnīt the md5sum for checking the iso before i try to burn it?
as i downloaded the iso the first time i burned it without checking it by md5sum. i start my pc with the iso. my machine boots and the i get a error message. something like "kernel panic ..."
after that i checked the iso file (puppy-1.0.3-mozilla.iso) with md5sum and get the message that a port of the checksum didnīt match. I think ok, something wrong with the download. so i downloaded the iso again. Take the check, same error. and so on.

Do you get the same md5sum for all the downloads?
...coz then it means the file on the server is corrupted.
Where are you downloading from?

i dowloaded the files puppy-1.0.3-mozilla.iso and puppy-1.0.3-mozilla.iso.txt from the following servers:
ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/puppylinux/
http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/distr/puppylinux/
http://mymirrors.homelinux.org/puppy/
but i couldnīt imagine that all servers have corrupt files. i think many people are downloading and i fear that the problem is on my pc but i donīt know where.

Yes it is - it is to ensure the download is intact. It does not matter what speed you burn at if this is faulty
Are you downloading from your browser (right clicking on the ISO) and saving the file?
