lsdldoom-1.5 is 769K for the static build (293K upx) - and take fx. "-width 800 -height 600" as command line parameter - it also comes with a lsdldoom-game-server for multi player game. Link to download shareware versions of the wad-files link but others can be found including the full-version-wads. You can use wadptr-2.4 (attached pet with static build) to shrink the wadfiles. Shareware doom1.wad can be reduced by 7% in size (to 3,8MB). The doom2.wad is reduced by 8% (to 13Mb). Place the wad files in usr/local/share/games/doom. Invoke program with "doom /path/to/doom.wad-file" or from the Fun-menu... Update 20120919: New build uploaded of lsdldoom with a fix for playing in Xorg as well. Removed the sdldoom package as lsdldoom really are superior. Added menu entry + icon to pet package.
