ClipGrab is a free downloader and converter for YouTube, Vimeo, Metacafe, Dailymotion and many other online video sites.
It converts downloaded videos to MPEG4, MP3 or other formats in just one easy step.

The dependencies:
Qt4 from Puppy Packages Manager

Here are 3.4.7 release versions. (Note that I get an avconv error, on raring, that i can't download as 1080p from youtube)

For the record, I can't get this (32-bit) to work.

It looks like all is going well but there is no hard drive activity and no file is ever downloaded.

I've also tried changing the target location to a network share. Still no download.

Running Puppy Linux 5.7

Saves it as a clipgrab-download-XXXXXX in /tmp, once downloaded converts it to the format you selected to save-as into the download directory you specify, It may not be converting for you

Thanks for the reply.

I looked in /tmp and don't see anything relating to clipgrab, at least from what I can tell.

Upon further experimenting, the problem is with 720P and 1080P Youtube downloads.

480P works fine.
