Youtube sound over 100%

#1 Post by espertalhao04 »

in this topic i will explain how to get youtube sound at over 100%...
i have managed to put at 255%, but the bass is horrible!!!
so, i am stuck with 194%...

i am using puppy linux 4.3.1...
there where no kernel changes made...
i also manually installed flash player 11.2.202.236...
i am using opera 12.00...
i don't know if any of this will generate this "bug"...

here are the steps:
1- go to the movie you want, and put pause...
2- click on the right button in the mouse, over the video...
you will get lots of infos about the movie, we will only need the volume...
3- go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQgUNgda6N8
WARNING! turn off the sound of the speakers BEFORE going to that youtube video...
4- repeat step 2, but for the given video url in 3...
5- set the volume as you wish...
again: check the volume values, cause at 76%, will be at 194% to the other videos...
6- stop playing the video i gave in 3...
7- press play in the movie you wanna see...
8- if 7 doesn't work, repeat all again, but instead of watching, refresh the video you want the volume to be higher and then play it...

i don't know if this is a bug or a feature that saves the db of the highest video at giver sound %...
if you find a louder video, you can try new settings, and i am sure you can get something like 300%!!!

if you have any idea of what this could be, please, tell me...
by the way, i didn't knew where to post this...
since it's related to multimedia, i decided to put it in there...

anything, just ask me...
if you think it's fake just because it doesn't work, i can try to take some screenshots or even record the screen, if you don't joke about my internet speed...
asus a6000: intel m 1.6ghz, 2gb ram ddr, no hdd, usb 2.0 pendrive running puppy linux 4.3.1
