That could very well be a case of the wrong version of Flac for the program. The api has changed significantly over the last several releases.

Got it working (and using one of your Flac files from your Grafpup repository too...haha). Thanks, Nathan.

Hydrogen crash

#21 Post by jj_01 »

I've installed the Hydrogen dotpup mentioned on this thread, but when I select "preferences" on the file menu, the program crashes with the error:

hydrogen: symbol lookup error: hydrogen: undefined symbol: _ZN7QStringC1ERKSs

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

(FYI, I'm running Puppy 2.16 seamonkey)

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's not Hydrogen, but Philip's Music Writer may let you do some of what you want and it's already compiled and working on Puppy.
See http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=20892 for details.

Hello everyone,
Just something that maybe of interest if you already have MU's Hydrogen dotpup installed.
If you download the latest version of Hydrogen from Debian unstable and convert it with the undeb/unrpm dotpup, then copy /usr/bin/hydrogen and /usr/bin/hydrogenPlayer only over writting MU's hydrogen dotpup bin files.
When you next start up Hydrogen, you will have the current GUI interface which is a lot nicer than the older version of Hydrogen's GUI

See Screenshot.
