Getting wireless going on some old computers |
|
Lenova 8808 ThinkCenter Deskop computer
IBM ThinkCenter Desktop
This is all the info I have regarding these computers.
A Zonet ZEW2502 802.11g Wireless USB
A friend of mine just dropped off two computers that I need to get going with Puppy Linux. These computers must be used wireless..
Can anyone help me with this? I would love to be able to get Puppy Linux 5.2.8 up and running on both of these computers with a Wireless connection.

Doesn't look good for that particular device.

Thanks! What make/model wireless adapter would you recommend I use that works with Puppy Linux and doesn't cost too much?

The d-link, belkin, and linksys 'G" usb adapters all seem to work ok for me on 5.28
I have a hard time getting puppy to handle 'N' wireless well.

Great! Thanks for the info. I am hoping that your recommendations will work with almost any Linux distro just in case I decide to install Zorin, Mint or whatever.
