qTorrent

#1 Post by Dromeno »

Transmission is great but it does not support rss feeds. Vuze does, but it is quite heavy.

kTorrent and qTorrent do. Especially qTorrent has the advantage of being cross-platform and having an almost identical user interface as uTorrent (which is about the most commonly used torrent client in the windows world)

uTorrent will be full of spam very soon (new versions will support advertisements). Is there anybody out here who is willing to create a pet of qTorrent and perhaps one of the other alternatives listed here:

Is Tixati a suitable alternative? There's a .pet here, ot you can download a newer version from their site, in portable format, which has binaries for windows, 32bit & 64bit linux.
