Puppy Package Manager won't start

#1 Post by koenh »

Hello,

I have used PPM without problems before (this afternoon), but after a restart, PPM does not want to start anymore.

Anybody an idea how to solve this?

Already thanks!

One time it happened to me while using Slacko 5.3.3 (frugal install). I suspected a corrupt savefile. I make backups once a week or so. After replacing the savefile to a backup savefile, PPM was able to start. I don't know what to tell you don't have a backup savefile. Maybe someone else has some other suggestions.

If you are running Slacko 5.3.3 PPM has a bug that causes this problem.
