Internet not working after using Puppy

#1 Post by gameboyab »

After I use Slacko Puppy 5.3.3 and connect to the internet, my Linux Mint 13 OS can't connect to the internet. I discovered a workaround, but it is annoying. I turn off then unplug my computer for about 30 seconds, plug it back in, then turn it on booting linux mint. after that, it works. Is there still an easier way? I tried this with the same puppy, but on a computer with Win XP, and the same thing happens. :(

Try disabling and re-enabling the network card.

Maybe if I learn how to use a search engine, I won't need to ask so many questions! :o

Linux is supposed to be for anyone, including the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Linux Mint has anti-Semitic attitudes. I don't think he had any place putting his politics or religious attitudes as conditions. It really goes against the spirit of FOSS.

That was the point of my comment; not just to give the answer, but where I looked for it.
