When puppy prompts a message. sometimes it uses splash or borderless form. It is good however splash form does shows on taskbar instead of hiding it. Is there anyway to hide it from taskbar?

Dear mistfire,

Programmers do splash screens in different ways - there is no one Puppy way for this. I wrote pnotify and bsplash - and there I can hid things from the taskbar, if I remember correctly. Also, there is a nice 01micko mod to gtkdialog that does that, replaceing yaf-splash. But each developer will use his own method. You are probably right that there could be a unified presentation of splash screens, but each person does his own thing... Smile

With kind regards,
vovchik
