its not that i wont make a cd......its just simply uselessIf there is a possibility that your form of install is part of the problem, is there any reason that it is necessary over a frugal install? (which basically puts one folder of 3 files on your hd). I think you said that you didn't want to burn a CD. But now I think that you could use your current install, to do a more conventional frugal install.
my Panasonic Toughbook dont have a CD drive or the abillity to boot from USB. a install is much trouble cause i have to remove the HDD and put it in an other pc.
I cant do that at moment cause my arm is broken and iam unable to remove the 100 little screws
also part of the problem is the Linux 5.XXX itself.
Ive found out that no matter what i try, it wont Start the xconfwizard on my Panasonic. Even if i kill the xserver i just get a Black screen.
