In dpup, I had to copy /sbin/losetup-FULL from Barry Kaulers Puppy build to get encrypted savefile loaded. The problem was that the savefile encryption was not decoded right and the savefile didnt open at all with out switching the losetup-FULL.
I thought to report my experience though.
Hello, don't work for my dpup, unfortunately.
But, when we stop a Lupu the first time with encryption, there is a warning about a bug of linux, and Lupu ask us twice the password.
And after, the reboot work fine with Lupu.
There is surely something to do, but what ?

(sorry for my english spoken)

Arefacti, it's not clear what your problem is. Could you rephrase it, and include the way you are using Puppy (full install, frugal, etc.)? Also, tell us how much RAM is in your computer.

Sorry about that, my english is very very bad.

I got a frugal install on usb key, ram 2 Go in the eeepc1000.

When I quit a session, the system ask me if I want encrypt the save.
I say "yes", "heavy". in ext2 filesystem

So, it seems to do the job, after, when I reboot, the system tells me :
"Failure to load encrypted save file properly". And stop.

So, hope I'm clear..not sure..
