I was looking for Pets that will work for this MU distro, based on Puppy-retro with Kernel 2.6.21.7.
I wanted to test proprietary vs open source video drivers.

Wine:
any version ok, BUT 1.4 would be good (Green Dome pets don't seem to work)
Multiple Sound Card Wizard
Retrovol
Rerwins Mods for USB
Open Box
Blue Moon Icon Set
Any help appreciated.
Pets For This Distro 4.1.2
That is a great little site for the 412 Puppy Dewbie, really well laid out, thanks for the link.
Could do with more sites like that for Puppy!
I am using the MU distro because he had compiled ATI fglrx 8.28.8 into it.
This is the last version that works for the older Radeon ATI cards, and both Xorg and newer kernels just snubbed those cards..
I know there was some Wine for Puppy 412, but it was on a .ca and .asia site
that is no longer there and just get a 404, not available message.
And Rerwin updated the usb probe so that newer modems would be recognised.
When I find the Rerwin thread again I will put a link to it, Ah found the thread now:
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=37828
the files could be handy to add to
the 412 collections website.
Cheers.

If what he suggests doesn't work, then try previous WINE versions.
