Sub_title: How do I get it to talk with another serial port ?

Make/model of laptop?
What (exactly -- make, model, function, etc.) do you want to attach?
Which puppy version are you intending to use?

You have provided almost no useful information except a vague sense of the eventual goal... how are we supposed to help with virtually nothing to go on?

Not upset. Just a little frustrated. This happens too much.

Looking for something like this:

Laplink HOWTO

That was among the first hits to a google query regarding serial connection.

Without knowing what the mysterious 'other product' might be, there really isn't a great chance for a more profound answer.

Concerning linking up between PCs,I find serial tooo slow and opted for a crossover Ethernet cable in the early years before I had a switch and WLAN Wink
