Reading is not but writing isn't. That means rename a file in Arabic is not possible because the Linux kernel is not Arabic supported and some of the flash drive Arabic contents is shown as question marks, but you can write Arabic in Abiword and your web browser.
Arabic language is not fully supported in puppy desktop interface still some things are shown in Arabic!.

@L18L
I know that puppy can show Arabic files names in the hard drive, but sometimes in a flash drive it came as question marks (??????? ??????).

I was talking about the language of the desktop, like the menu, desktop shortcuts (file, help, mount, install,.....etc) and some of puppy built-in apps that it comes with Arabic language. In short, a puppy that speaks Arabic.

Hi BDX,
you wrote:... a puppy that speaks Arabic.
Wonderful :D
So you and bignono1are the men to make an Arabic languagepack
Using a recent wary/racy/precise or slacko
loading devx
and use momanager for the translations of puppy scripts
Really? Or did I dream that?

Hmm........Not bad, a good idea actually.
So, do i have to be a pro in programming in order to do it?
Using a recent wary/racy/precise or slacko

No, just clicking some buttons and translating from English in a text editor (yudit can do right/to/left).
Learn more about momanager translation manager directly from the PuppyMaster:

Sorry, Lucid is not compatible to that relative new method which is
... for all puppies built from woof later than Feb 28, 2012
These are the official Wary, Racy , Precise and Slacko
Precise is the one with compatibility to ubuntu (like lucid but newer).
