Tried to run the pet several times, always says it loaded, it shows up in the driver list of Network Wizard, when I try to load the driver from the list I get the fatal error. modprobe gives the same error. lsmod shows a list in which it is not present. *pulls out hair*

This is my mistake. I built the driver in Wary 522 in the belief that Wary 530 just had user-land improvements. But it also changed kernels.

I'll get back to you on this.

[Update] I went to BK's site where he keeps the kernel sources and I couldn't find k2.6.32.59 for Wary 5.3.

So your alternative is to use Wary 522.

Got it. Thanks. I have posted the Wary 5.3 driver on Page 1.

Thanks much to all of you. I can now see the dongle from Network Wizard. Scan still will not detect my WLAN, so I still have a ways to go to get connected. Thanks again for all your help with the driver.

Is Frisbee in the menu... Network???

Or maybe it needs >>>>Pet to install it.

Often times works where others fail.

However....please note....on rare occasions

"Sometimes....very infrequently in Frisbee you have to

>> delete your profiles

Restart

>> Hit Connect

Frisbee starts...

Select >> Wireless Diagnostics

Select Ap_scan

Change the >> Ap_scan Parameter

from 1 to >> 2
for a better connection to a hidden network

Exit Frisbee

Hit Connect >> Frisbee starts...>> Wireless Network refresh

A few moments later...networks reappear

Fill in your details...and Frisbee connects.

Chris.
