I use Slacko 5.6 on my trusty old Thinkpad X31 laptop. Ever since I started using Puppy one of the things I've noticed is that the audio playback quality is not as good as on Windows XP (which I have installed on another partition of my laptop's drive).
I was wondering if there is any not-seriously-complicated way of being able to use the Windows XP driver on Puppy, and if so how would I go about doing this?
Thanks for any help.
How to improve the audio quality?
Liro, perhaps test your theory by first ruling out the other two sound pkgs offered by Linux?
Your other option would be Wine.. And not the kind you drink.
