Puppy Kiosk Update
I have tried booting the most recent versions of puppy linux in virtualbox and have been unsuccessful. I have tried 5.6 to 5.7, precise puppy, and slacko puppy. None of them boot using virtualbox. I use virtualbox to do all of my kiosk testing. I will probably not be updating my kiosk instructions until I figure out what's wrong or a new version comes out that works with virtualbox.

Hello,
Please excuse my ignorance in following this thread.
Where do you get the original kiosk download?
or
Is this thread about building your own kiosk mode?
I attempted to download Open Kiosk 2.13 from addons.mozilla.org. to apply to SeaMonkey 2.19 running with Precise Puppy 5.7.1.
However, I got this message:
Your patience is appreciated.
Thank you

Will your kiosk mode work with Precise Puppy 5.7.1?The add-on downloaded from addons.mozilla.org could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt.
Your patience is appreciated.
Thank you

RE: Subject description: Where is kiosk download?
Hi Sky Aisling, This thread is about creating your own Kiosk environment using Puppy Linux as a base. It involves locking down Puppy Linux and locking down Firefox. The end result should be an Operating System that even you can't change. Sincerely, Joe

@shadower_sc
A couple questions:
tahrpup-6.0.2 PAE, slacko-5.7, frugal install, pupsave file, multi OS flashdrive, SYSLINUX boot, CPU-Dual E2140, 4GB RAM
A couple questions:
- 1.Any particular reason foe replacing Seamonkey with Chrome? Personal preference or Popularity or Risk?
2. I like Seamonkey because of Composer. Can I have both browsers?

Can Bike OS is developed by megasewertoad. He has just used my documentation to create a Puplet and has it hosted on the Internet Archive.
There is no reason why you can't use whatever program you want. I personally favor Firefox, though I am giving Pale Moon a try on my phone.
