Exaile is a music manager and player for GTK+ written in Python. It incorporates automatic fetching of album art, lyrics fetching, Last.fm scrobbling, support for many portable media players, internet radio such as shoutcast, and tabbed playlists. i'm not sure if everything is working, particularly the 'ipod support' plugin as i haven't got an ipod. it would be nice if someone would test this, but please backup your ipod first!! just in case. Works as expected 
The Spanish locale doesn't take full effect despite being complete, but that doesn't depend on you, maybe L18L or rodin.s know something There's a full album I have to play on another player because its mp3 files crash Exaile 
Other albums / songs play as expected
Fetching lyrics from Lyrics Fly doesn't work, but I disabled that plugin and enabled fetching from Lyrics Wiki instead, problem solved

Exaile is different from most other audio player applications available in Puppy, in that it uses the gstreamer playback engine and libraries. Clearly gstreamer cannot cope with this one particular series of mp3 files ... but that doesn't mean gstreamer is at fault - it probably means those mp3 encodings are of a poor technical standard! I suggest you re-encode that album with a good quality encoder - I recommend LAME. Puppy's "Asunder" cd ripper uses LAME. Or if you do your ripping on Windows, use Exact Audio Copy with LAME.
Well you included all the necessary libraries such as libgpod, libimobiledevice, and usbmuxd, so it should work ... ... but it's worth mentioning that the iPod device needs to be mounted, first. |

hi does it play music from internet radio stations like pandora,grooveshark etc ? |

I have't tested because I haven't got broadband, but it's supposed to be able to play radio stations, see the Radio tab on the left. |

666philb and L18L, Thank you! I can see Exaile in full Spanish now. I put together your PET and the extra dependencies and built a new PET, and also an SFS, but I can't share them because I'm on slow connection, I may go to a broadband spot and upload tomorrow. L18L, Confirmed, I got the same result in my terminal window, even with my PET file. Tempestuous, Yes, I mean the album has a bad mp3 encoding. By the way, I tested your GStreamer PET, it works on Precise, I can play WMA. |

Yes, it also plays ALAC (Apple Lossless m4a) ! |

Pandora and Grooveshark are more than just internet radio stations, they're "music recommendation services" which require a certain level of user interaction, and this is not particularly well suited to conventional audio player interfaces.
