hi komarx6,
open the puppy package manager (PPM) and type audacious into the find box. click on audacious to install it (be sure to press the 'examine all dependencies' button when prompted)
you may want to update the PPM before you try it though as the ubuntu repos are changing quite quickly. In the PPM click configure then update and follow the prompts.
try the same for codeblocks

I have installed codeblocks, as you sad, with all dependencies.
But when I try to compile program, it says "Nothing to be done", and do nothing.
I used puppy package manager to install GCC, although it appeared that codeblocks have recognized it on first start up. But when I type "gcc" in terminal is says "command not found".
How should I fix that?

All fonts are small, so I didn't see this message:
Code: Select all
"testing - Debug" uses an invalid compiler. Probably the toolchain path within the compiler options is not setup correctly?! Skipping...
Can this help some of you to help me?
Codeblocks is the most important program for me. I I could use it successfully I would stick to puppy.

When I go to Setting > Compiler and Debugger > Reset default
fallowing messagebox pops up:
Code: Select all
Could not auto-detect installation path of "GNU GCC Compiler"...
Do you want to use this compiler's default installation directory?
Nothing changes when I choose Yes.

puppy has gcc compiler in the devx.... you should uninstall gcc if you installed it from the ppm and install the devx , choose the appropriate one for you either in the precise5.4 folder or the precise5.4 retro
http://ftp.nluug.nl/ibiblio/distributions/quirky/
then right click on the devx and use the sfs loader to install it

I thought that I have installed gcc, but there are no effects to system.
How to uninstall applications previously installed by package manager?
----------------------------------------------
I'm downloading file devx_retroprecise_5.4.sfs
Is that right?

in the PPM there is a list of installed packages at the bottom. click on the package to uninstall
the devx should be the same version as the puppy you are using... so the retro one is for the retro iso. so it's right if you're using the retro precise

Yes or no ? tar.gz are they accepted ? They are so many dependancies in Puppy that it's better to use Ubuntu, no ?
