I am finding that Slacko is very busy and runs hotter than the older puppy I had.
In fact, it is so busy that the screen saver never activates. I've tried getting rid of unnecessary processes and system tray icons but it is still busy, as much as 8% cpu when doing nothing.
What can I do?

I think it's this:
/bin/ash/ /sbin/pup_event_frontend_d
It keeps bringing up "sleep 2" much more frequently than the lupu puppy.
It just seems very busy doing nothing.
