I recently did a frugal install of Wary 5.3. Once I have set the volume slides in retrovol, it works fine for the current session, but when I shut down and boot again, the volume settings are lost. Everything goes back to mute. What can I do to save the settings? It seemed to work OK in Wary 5141.
I can't find any reference through Search..

Jake- I'm think'n this'll work..
First- set your volume.
Then open a shell and enter: alsactl store
Now navigate to /root/Startup'n rt-clk >> new >> "script" and name it volume_restore.
Rt-clk >> "open as text" and add: alsactl restore
Reboot'n maybe she sticks..
