Still no go:
ErrorMsg: 5.7.0 "Must issue a STARTTLS command first."

The feedback i got is here:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... e96a2adf
I entered settings as specified, any ideas ?
Also, there is no box to enter in outgoing mail server in seamonkey: ie.: smtp.live.mail & no place for port25

Thanks...vm

BTW: I there a googleCHROME brower for puppy.slacko ?
I like CHrome the best anyways.

YES! There is a Chrome pkg for Slacko. Look for one here.

The rest I'll need time with..

Here is the info that works for both Windows7 and PuppyLinux-5.3.3
From: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Hotmail
Please note the difference in Secure Commection between
Pop3 Secure connection: SSL/TLS
smtp Secure connection: STARTTLS
And User Name: Your FULL email address for both pop3 and smtp .
=============================================
Type: POP
Server Name: pop3.live.com
User Name: Your FULL email address
Port: 995 (this should be automatically set when you select SSL)
Secure connection: SSL/TLS
Secure authentication: normal password
=============================================
Type: SMTP
[edit]
Server Name: smtp.live.com
Port: 587 (you could also use port 25 if your ISP doesn't block it)
Username: Your FULL email address
Secure connection: STARTTLS
Secure authentication: normal password

Thanks...Vernon

When I had problems at one time and also for those running Firefox as their browser, I got and installed Thunderbird.
With it, I entered my email address, password, and it did the setup.
