Cannot connect to internet with Wary 5.3.1

Hi newbie to Puppy here.

I cannot get Wary to connect to the internet. Precise Puppy does it with the Simple Networking tool no problem but Wary does not work. Both are using the same driver rtl8187.

Connection I am trying is Wlan0 using a NetGear USB Dongle

I am switching to Wary because of old hardware not working well with xorg so I am running under xvesa with no problems.

Thank you Dewbie. Did not do my search far enough. I will take a look at the postings you linked to.

I will figure it out because I should make it work. In the meanwhile, I found Dpup Exprimo 5x15 and installed it. It is working fine. Seems to me that I can make connections no problems with Frisbee.
