Skype 4.1 the end of the line?

Well- the development of skype is going strange !
Since the version 4.1. There is no static version any more and won't be made again- great.
To get it to work you need qt libraries and Glibc_2-15. Much to heavy!!
Well- and after tried to test it- my system broke down
