Nice Idea!

Thanks.

Currently downloading it. Will make some editions for German users and upload a DE Version after this.

Is that alright with you?

Hi.

I have sent an E-Mail to a German Drumming-Magazine called "Drums & Percussion". It's published 6 times a year, so next will come end of December.

I have put in the Link to Studio 4, the Link to Studio 13.37 Webpage, the Link to Studio 13.37 "Watch Video" and the Link to Studio 13.37 at youtube (search results page)

I don't know if or when (if so) they will mention something of this in their publication. But they've started a new "Recording-Serie" and on their last publication I've sent mail to them, regarding open source music software and they've mentioned then the audacity (for Windows) in one article of the new "Recording-Serie". Maybe there is more to come...

Maybe I'll tell Somebody, instead of just Anybody, to be safe.
I know Anybody can keep a secret, but I've also heard that Nobody can keep a secret, so I might tell Everybody too, because Everybody knows Somebody can keep a secret, and if Anybody can, then surely Nobody can too!

:? Hey, what am I doing here on first?

Practical advise

... an exercise in practical reasoning. Thank you very much!

Only reasonable conclusion: you shouldn't tell anyone ... (otherwise you would be inconsistent with what you know).

(Hint: use reductio on "if Anybody can, then surely Nobody can too" using the premisses "I know Anybody can keep a secret" and "(at least) you are someone who can keep a secret").

Sorry, folks. It looks like we might have had a bad upload. I have re-uploaded the iso and md5sum, downloaded, and tested it.

Why does this sort of thing always happen to me? I feel like this Korean painter.

He combines talent, insanity and self control into one human whole. Maybe there's a bit of that in all of us.
Funny guy.

New to linux audio, puppy versions?

a heads-up, to use windows vsts with Reaper in studio4, run the command
winecfg, and change the audio tickbox from jackd to alsa.

run alsamixer to raise the volume, make sure it lists the soundcard
you want to use, tab key, and arrow keys control the gui

if your boot setup defaults to a motherboard chip, when you own a
nice usb/firewire/pci soundcard, simply
edit the textfile /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-modem.conf

Type rox in the terminal, (it's the file manager)
browse to /etc/modprobe.d and right-click in the window,
and choose to create a new file, or edit one as text.

In the following example,
a common intel chip is shown blacklisted

# Uncomment these entries in order to blacklist unwanted modem drivers
# blacklist snd-atiixp-modem
blacklist snd-intel8x0m
# blacklist snd-via82xx-modem

or create a new textfile named blacklist, and include the unwanted module.

Use the lsmod command, to list the kernel modules of the linux that is running.

Make music!

Yeah... bad also for argolance (who put together ToOPpy) and a couple of other Puppy developers who had put isos and stuff there.

It seems the whole meownplanet site is down.

Were they involved in illegal hosting or something?
I saw something about that on the news a couple of days ago?

Regards.

My upload

http://www.4shared.com/get/B3BIW5eN/studio_4.html

Announcer sent me a PM....for the above.

However 4Shared changed conditions months ago....

so you will need to register. Shouldn't be hard.

Site states.
"You should log in to download this file.
Sign up for free if you don't have an account yet."

"""

I checked that it's still there....ISO >> studio_4.iso
