Been searching through this forum and Google to find out how you switch to the IceWM window manager, but no luck. Anyone have a guide? I'm using Slacko 5.3. Thanks.

Hi!

Make sure you have it in your puppy by looking for "icewm" in PFind.
If not: look here http://puppylinux.org/wikka/icewm, there are a couple of packages.

Once you are sure you have it installed, go to initial black console by typing "control-alt-backspace", and type
"fixmenus" (without the quotation marks) for creation of the icewm menu (it'll take not even half a minute).
    and then type "xwin icewm"

..and you're in icewm! Smile

Regards.
