Where are the old(er) distros?

#1 Post by KFritz »

I wanted to download a stable version of Wary (5.3), as per instructions on this page.

http://puppylinux.org/main/Long-Term-Su ... yPuppy.htm

Both the links to Wary 5.3 were dead.

Then I visited both of these indexes of available distros, and discovered that early distros are no longer available, and that Wary 5.3 LTR supported wasn't there either.

http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/distr/quirky/
http://distro.ibiblio.org/quirky/

Has Wary 5.3 gone the way of the Dodo Bird? I checked the News section of the Puppy website, and found nothing on the subject.

Thanks for any help on this one.
