Right click options for Fatdog 610

Fatdog website

The latest version of Fatdog is 610
http://ftp.nluug.nl/ibiblio/distributions/fatdog/iso/

I've made a right click pet package exclusively for this distribution.
Install the pet package and you will see many more right click
options that will make fatdog bark with joy.

It takes only a second to install the pet package. That's it. Nothing could be
simpler. I highly recommend that you only install in a fresh installation
since there could be confusing entries otherwise.

Versions:

Dec7 first version 6.0.3
Dec10 second version 6.0.5 -screenshot folder script now works
extract rpm added, removed pclock

Some notes:

1) I left baconrecorder in the pet package even though i couldn't
get my machine to record anything

2) I left mhwaveedit right clicks in for same reason

3) I installed gtkdialog-spash and made link yaf-splash to
be consistent with recent puppies

4) Removed isomaster and inkscapelite right clicks

5) Removed Zathura application (It could probably be compiled for
64 bit but it's not worth it)

6) pupmd5sum is used for md5sum calulation

7) defaultaudioplayer is set by package

Hi Don,

Thanks for this. Just a little note:

a) mhwaveedit is available on the pet repo.
b) so is isomaster and inkscape (not inkscapelite, the full inkscape)
c) the md5sum gui is called "phash" and is located in /etc/xdg/rox.sourceforge.net/SendTo

For mhwaveedit to work properly I think it needs mplayer as well to provide codec support.

Sound works

#4 Post by don570 »

I should have looked at the repository

If I had downloaded and installed Retrovol (retrovol-0.12-x86_64.pet)
then I could have set up my sound card properly.

... and the version of mhwaveedit (mhwaveedit-1.4.21-600.pet)
works as well.

I request a version of mhwaveedit that opens retrovol when clicking on
the audio mixer button in mhwaveedit window.

The nice thing about Bacon Recorder is that it doesn't require
compiling. It's just a simple gtkdialog script . It requires
'arecord' however to be installed. I tried Bacon Recorder last night and
it worked in fatdog 610.
