PUPPY is good stuff

#1 Post by jim nagel »

I am by no means a hard core linux geek. I am however a long time linux user. After graduating with an emphasis in programming(2000) I have never done much of it and have not been interested in going back to the nuts and bolts level . I can manuever around linux fairly well and fix a few things. My real focus has been reviewing linux versions and getting them to do what I want them to do with a minimum amount of fuss. The latest two versions of PUPPY(Slacko and Precise) have passed this mark with flying colors. These are real candidates for some desktop users where I work. EXCELLENT - JOB WELL DONE . Now using both versions at home !!

Thanks for the good news. :)

Hope you can tell us in what ways Slacko and Precise work for you ('coz you use both).
